Why aren’t prices listed on the website?

No two organisations are the same, and neither are their HR needs.
Packages are designed based on:

Your size and structure
Existing HR processes
Sector-specific requirements
The level of support you need

Each package is created bespoke to your organisation and priced accordingly to ensure value, fairness, and the right level of support.

Who do you support?

I support small and medium-sized organisations across a range of sectors, including businesses, charities, early years settings, schools, care providers, and families employing Personal Assistants (PAs).
HR is a transferable skill, and support is not limited to education alone. However, EduCare HR Solutions is rooted in extensive experience within education, SEN, and care. This brings a deeper understanding of the pressures, regulatory requirements, and people challenges within these environments, resulting in a more compassionate, practical, and nurturing approach to HR support, while remaining fully robust and compliant across all sectors.

Do I need HR support if I only have a few employees?

Yes. Employment law applies regardless of size. Even with one employee, you have legal obligations. HR support helps you stay compliant, manage issues confidently, and avoid costly mistakes.

What types of HR support do you offer?

Support ranges from ad hoc advice and document creation, through to case management, HR audits, and ongoing retained HR partnerships. The level and type of support is always tailored to the specific needs, size, and sector of your organisation.

There’s no one-size-fits-all approach.

You can use me as little or as much as you need, with flexibility to adapt as your organisation grows or circumstances change.

What if I don’t know what HR support I need?

That’s very common. We’ll start with a conversation to understand your situation, risks, and priorities, and I’ll guide you towards the right level of support without pressure or jargon.

How quickly can you help and how do we get started?

Getting started is simple. We begin with an initial conversation and a high-level review of your current HR arrangements to understand your organisation, risks, and priorities. From there, a bespoke support package is agreed that reflects your needs, size, and sector.
Once confirmed, onboarding can typically be completed within 48 business hours, allowing support to begin swiftly, particularly where matters are time-sensitive. Response times and ongoing support levels will always be agreed upfront, so you know exactly what to expect.

Do you work remotely or in person?

Most support is provided remotely, which helps keep costs down and allows for flexibility. However, in-person support may be available by arrangement where appropriate. Please contact me to discuss your specific requirements — I’m always happy to explore the most suitable way to support you, taking into account your location and needs.

Do you provide payroll services?

I do not currently offer payroll services directly. However, I can support with the majority of the preparation and associated HR processes, including setting up employee information, contracts, changes to terms, absence and leave data, and ensuring everything provided to your payroll provider is accurate and compliant.
I’m also happy to liaise directly with your chosen payroll provider where needed, helping to ensure a smooth, joined-up approach and reducing the administrative burden on you.

Can you help with safer recruitment and compliance?

Yes. Safer recruitment is a critical area for many organisations, particularly within education, early years, care, and charity settings. I provide practical, end-to-end support with safer recruitment processes, including policy development, role design, compliant job adverts, interview frameworks, pre-employment checks (such as DBS and right-to-work), contracts, and robust record keeping.

My approach is shaped by direct experience of Ofsted expectations and inspection processes, which has helped refine a clear, proportionate, and evidence-based approach to safer recruitment. Support is always tailored to your setting and risk profile, ensuring recruitment practices are both compliant and workable in real-world environments.

Do you offer support for parents employing PAs through direct payments?

Yes. I provide specialist HR support for parents and carers who employ Personal Assistants (PAs) through direct payments. This includes safer recruitment, contracts, policies, employer responsibilities, and support with managing issues confidently, while ensuring compliance with employment law in a clear and accessible way.

As both an HR professional and someone with lived experience of SEND systems, I understand the balance families must strike between care, compliance, and capacity. This insight informs a practical, empathetic approach that reflects real-life pressures, while maintaining robust, legally sound HR practices.
